Roma II

The Brief

The opportunity is to create a complete suite of premium photography, film and digital tools that captures both the quality of Roma II and the experience of being aboard her.

A timeless website will bring everything together, helping potential guests discover the yacht, explore the available charter options and take the next step towards booking.

Creative approach

The applied visual style will draw inspiration from classic luxury and fashion editorials, with the elegance and sophistication of a Vanity Fair shoot. Rather than simply documenting the rooms and features, we will tell the story of a day aboard Roma 2: from peaceful mornings and open-water cruising through to swimming, entertaining and dining beneath the evening sky.

The imagery will balance:

  • Classic elegance and craftsmanship

  • Comfort and understated luxury

  • Beautiful Greek locations

  • The practical experience of staying aboard

  • Authentic moments shared with friends and family

  • Roma 2’s ability to move effortlessly between secluded bays and vibrant ports

Proposed production

The production will be led by Ben Elliott (Communications Strategist & Photographer) alongside skilled creative filmmaker Max Broadbent, giving us the capacity to capture photography, film and aerial footage and work between Roma II and the tender.

The proposed trip includes 2 days for travel to and from Greece from Manchester, two principal production days and an additional flexible day. This gives us protection against weather, operational delays or changing light, while also allowing time to capture anything that may have been missed.

We would endeavour to edit on travel days, but will also allow for 4 days edit time and additional 3 days for the website build.

A detailed shooting plan will be developed in advance which will include locations, yacht movements, table settings, guest participation, wardrobe and the best times for morning and evening light. We also need to consider people to feature in the images and consider who they could be.

Photography

We will create a premium image library covering:

  • Roma 2 cruising through open water

  • Aerial views of the yacht in dramatic Greek locations

  • The yacht at anchor in secluded bays

  • Swim stops and time spent in the water

  • Roma 2 arriving in and moored alongside port

  • Exterior areas at dawn, daytime, sunset and night

  • Fully dressed dining and entertaining spaces

  • Interior cabins, living areas and practical facilities

  • Architectural details, materials and classic features

  • Lifestyle photography featuring guests enjoying the yacht

  • Clean versions of key scenes without guests

  • Crew and hospitality moments where appropriate

The final images will be professionally edited in a refined, consistent style suitable for websites, charter listings, brochures, PR and social media.

We would seek to deliver around 200 fully edited images for professional use.

Hero film

We would produce a cinematic hero film will introduce Roma 2 as an aspirational Greek charter experience.

The film will combine drone footage, beautifully composed onboard sequences, lifestyle moments and changing light throughout the day. It will be designed to create an emotional response and leave viewers wanting to experience Roma 2 for themselves.

Proposed duration: approximately 60–90 seconds.

Yacht tour film

A separate film will clearly introduce the layout, facilities and practical experience of the yacht.

This could feature a presenter or model naturally moving through the vessel without spoken dialogue, helping viewers understand how the spaces connect. Alternatively, the tour can be created through carefully controlled camera movements and wide views of each area.

Proposed duration: approximately 2–3 minutes.

Social media content

The principal films will also be adapted into a selection of short vertical edits for Instagram, advertising and other digital channels. These will provide concise, visually engaging introductions to Roma II and help direct potential guests towards the website or booking enquiry.

Website

A timeless and elegant website will be designed and built around the new photography and film.

The website will combine the atmosphere of a premium fashion editorial with a clear and practical booking journey. Potential guests will be able to explore Roma II, understand the different charter possibilities and submit an enquiry tailored to their requirements.

The website will include:

  • A cinematic homepage introducing Roma II

  • Accommodation, facilities and specifications

  • Image galleries

  • Embedded hero and yacht-tour films

  • Day-charter information and enquiries

  • Week-charter information and enquiries

  • Bespoke and custom-charter enquiries

  • Destinations, suggested routes and experiences

  • Information about the crew and onboard hospitality

  • Frequently asked questions

  • Clear availability and booking-enquiry sections

  • Mobile-responsive design

  • Basic search-engine optimisation

  • Connection to the yacht’s domain and relevant analytics

  • Training for the owner or booking team to manage enquiries and update content

The site will be structured so it can support direct enquiries, broker referrals and future marketing campaigns. Where live pricing or instant availability is not appropriate, the booking process will feel personal and exclusive, guiding guests towards a tailored conversation.

The completed package will include:

  • A curated collection of approximately 200 edited photographs
